Recommended Background
No pre-requisite of any science background is required. High school level science is beneficial.
Course Format
The course is divided into five modules, each covering a distinct area of diabetes diagnosis, treatment and nutrition. Additional outside readings, web-based resources and discussion board topics will be presented to round out the course lessons and materials.

There are no prerequisites for this course. Basic understanding of nutrition science and human physiology would be beneficial.
