Plant-based/Vegan

“Plant-based” has a wide range of definitions, but it is generally considered to be a dietary approach containing no animal products. A vegan diet comprised solely of plant foods, eliminating the consumption of animal foods and products derived from animals (such as milk, cheese, and honey). A whole-food plant-based (WFPB) is when the majority of the diet (usually more than 80%) is from whole plants (fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, seeds and limited nuts); processed foods are typically eliminated or rarely consumed and total fat intake is generally also restricted.
