Introducing Lewis!

Lewis’s dad, who played Hockey and captained Wales & Great Britain, introduced Lewis to the sport at the age of 7. Since then, Lewis has played in 2 commonwealth games and had played 149 games for his country. He also plays in the Premier League in the UK for East Grinstead. In Lewis’s spare time, he coaches and works as a nutrition consultant. He has a strong love for fitness and nutrition and organises his days around them.

Journey

As an International athlete, fitness has always been a part of Lewis’s lifestyle. Lewis enjoys going for runs, hosting bikes sessions, and heading into central London to take part in various classes. He is always looking for ways to learn how he can get the best out of himself and his body by learning all he can when it comes to recovery and training.

Passions and Goals

Lewis loves Hockey and has hockey-specific goals in mind over the next couple of years that he is focusing on. Lewis’s passion lies in the health and nutrition industry. Lewis studied some of the certifications THSA has to offer and a few years ago and became fascinated with nutrition. Something the controls your mood, lifestyle, performance, recovery, and social life is something you can’t ignore.

Why the THSA

Lewis believes that being able to trust the online certifications you are taking is vital. He knows firsthand what taking accredited qualifications that are backed by scientific research can do. Being able to study on your own time offers convenience and allowed Lewis to practice his passion and perform at the top level of his sport. Lewis found the courses are well-formatted, with easy to understand videos that accompany modules and tests. This allowed him to have the perfect way to learn and help use the information when it comes to working with his clients.

Fun Fact

Lewis likes to laugh a lot, which means he’s perfect to practice new jokes on.
