Nail health

The nail is an appendage of the skin and is made up of rightly round skin cells combined with specific keratins (structural proteins). Genetics can influence our nail growth an health but so does other factors such as nutrient intake, free radical levels, medical conditions, medications, and presence of bacteria or other pathogens.
