Prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics

Prebiotics feed good gut bacteria, probiotics are ingestible helpful bacteria, and postbiotics are the by-products of living bacteria. They can help with digestion and absorption, enhancing the immune system and regulating hormone balance thus, protecting us from food-borne illnesses. However, for some individuals they may have no effect and other can do harm (for example if they are sensitive to them).
