Soy sensitivity

A soy allergy is more common in individuals with another food allergy or in those with atopic dermatitis. Many individuals with allergies are generally more sensitive to allergens and typically react to multiple food. Some of this could be related to the similar allergen proteins found across different foods. There are thought to be at least 16 different allergens within soy, with the main allergens being seed storage proteins and pan-allergens.
