With an incredible career as UK No.1 for 9 years Hannah has hung up the gloves and turned her hand to coaching and mentoring young people.

Hannah is looking to use her new found knowledge in nutrition within her own fitness training, as well as to help others she coaches in boxing!

Studying with the health sciences athlete program has allowed me to focus on training along side furthering my studies. It has also provided me with the knowledge to rebuild both physically and mentally after 4 life saving surgeries and paralysis from the neck down.

I am inspired to make a difference in public health and wellbeing to create a healthier nation.

Double Olympian Team GB swimmer Lizzie competed in her first Olympic Games aged 17! Currenty based in Bath, she is training ahead of major competition for her upcoming season. Follow her journey and her progress through international competition this year!

Tony is a mental heath 1st aider and has battled personally against depression and cancer. He uses his unique personal fighting story to help and inspire others to see ‘life from the Briteside’

Tony’s story through sport and beyond is a truly inspirational one. Tony has already implemented some small changes in his nutrition with some great results in the early stages of his studies with The Health Sciences Athlete program. Follow the next chapters of Tonys story as he takes on more new found knowledge during his time with academy!

Lewis Prosser - Hockey

Date of Birth: 13/6/1990
Honors: 2008 Youth Olympics & 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games

Lewis’ father also played hockey for Wales, and Lewis has played to a high level throughout his youth to present, receiving Wales ‘player of the year’ award in 2016.

Lewis has a rigorous full time training regime with his club and international captaining duties, with competitive fixtures on weekends, and his international campaign for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Heather Sellars - Triathlon

Heather is a a Team GB triathlete having top 10 and podium finishes at European Championships. She also swam the English Channel aged 18!

The grueling demands of triathlon have always required an optimum fueling strategy from food and nutrition and Heather is excited to explore what optimum nutrition could be for her as she studies with The Health Sciences Academy Athlete program!

Kelvin Batey - BMX

Date of Birth: 9/5/1981
Honors: 2013 World Champion

Kelvin competed internationally for Great Britain until 2008 before he switched to compete for Ireland. He then went on to become World Champion in New Zealand in 2013.

 Kelvin has always had a keen interest in nutrition and its link to athletic performance. Follow his progress through the next stages of his BMX career as he takes on new knowledge with The Health Sciences Academy!

Theo Spalding - Judo

Theo retired from Great Britain Judo in 2015 after a top career winning Gold medals at Commonwealth and World Cup level. He has also been British Champion 6 times!

Kate had an incredible international career with Olympic & Commonwealth Games success. Since then Kate established her own personal training enterprise and will look her use her new found knowledge in nutrition to help her clients reach their goals!
